SILVA EXPEDITION S COMPASS

The EXPEDITION S compass is for experienced and professional users. This series has been a world leader in accuracy, precision and durability.
It has a sight glass in the mirror for more accurate readings, silicone feet to improve fixation on the map when taking readings and is equipped with Romer scales for taking positions on the map and measuring scales in mm and inches, 1:25,000 and 1:50,000. Integrated magnifying glass and luminous signals for night navigation are other features to be taken into account.
The slope card is used both for avalanche risk detection and to determine the difficulty of your trip. By knowing the slope you can also calculate any additional distance you have to add due to the climb.
Its limbo features a Dryflex™ wrap for easy grip and handling.
The safety line has two scales on it; 1:25,000 and 1:50,000, which makes it easy to measure the walking distance.
