SILVA EXPEDITION COMPASS

The EXPEDITION compass is for experienced and professional users. This series has been a world leader in accuracy, precision and durability.
Its limbo features a Dryflex™ wrap for easy grip and handling.
Plus detachable safety lanyard, reflective markings, silicone feet for friction, magnifying glass, a clinometer for measuring slope angle, map scales for measuring in millimeters or inches, 1:25,000, 1:50,000 and GPS scales.
It has the function of magnetic declination adjusters (including permanent local adjustments). The compass can also represent 1:40,000.
The slope card is used both for avalanche risk detection and to determine the difficulty of your trip. By knowing the slope you can also calculate any additional distance you have to add due to the climb.
The safety line has two scales on it; 1:25,000 and 1:50,000, which makes it easy to measure the walking distance.
