SILVA EXPEDITION COMPASS

The EXPEDITION compass is for experienced and professional users. This series has been a world leader when it comes to accuracy, precision and durability.
Its limbo features a Dryflex™ wrap, for easy grip and handling.
Plus detachable safety lanyard, reflective markings, silicone feet for friction, magnifier, a clinometer for measuring slope angle, map scales measuring in millimeters or inches, 1:25,000, 1:50,000 and GPS scales.
It has the function of magnetic declination adjusters (including permanent local adjustments). The compass can also represent 1:40,000 measurement.
The slope card is useful both for avalanche risk detection and for determining the difficulty of your trip. By knowing the slope you can also calculate any additional distance you have to add due to the climb.
The safety lanyard has two scales on it; 1:25,000 and 1:50,000, which makes it easy to measure the walking distance.
