SILVA EXPEDITION COMPASS

The EXPEDITION compass is for experienced and professional users. This series has been a global leader in terms of accuracy, precision, and durability.
Its tape features a Dryflex™ coating for easy grip and handling.
It also includes a detachable safety cord, reflective markings, silicone feet for traction, a magnifying glass, a clinometer for measuring slope angles, map measurement scales in millimeters or inches, 1:25,000, 1:50,000, and GPS scales.
It features magnetic declination adjustment (including permanent local adjustments). The compass can also display a scale of 1:40,000.
The slope card is useful both for identifying avalanche risks and for determining the difficulty of your trip. Once you know the slope, you can also calculate any additional distance you need to add due to the climb.
The safety lanyard has two scales on it: 1:25,000 and 1:50,000, which makes it easy to measure the distance of the hike.
