• Outsole: The improved STICKYGRIP rubber provides exceptional traction on all types of terrain, including mud and rocks. Now enhanced with extra grip for better traction on wet rocks. The new 8-mm-long STICKYGRIP lugs with beveled edges have been carefully positioned in multiple directions to improve grip, shed mud, boost propulsion from the toes, and facilitate a quicker heel strike. Larger lugs in high-wear areas extend the sole’s lifespan. A META-FLEX groove in the forefoot allows for greater elasticity when pushing off from the toes and more flexibility underfoot. A new adjacent vertical groove isolates the big toe, giving it greater freedom to further enhance takeoff. A flexible META-SHANK plate—along with the fully coated rubber outsole—protects the bottom of the foot from sharp rocks, while allowing the feet to move naturally and providing a sense of the terrain below.
• Midsole: The new POWERFLOW PRO foam midsole provides a cushioned stride that maintains high levels of responsiveness. This incredible comfort and propulsion underfoot is engineered in a way that still allows for the ground feel you need when running on uneven and challenging terrain. A new, lighter version of the 6-mm-thick BOOMERANG insole incorporates hundreds of expanded TPU microspheres that compress and rebound to deliver 40% more energy return—and greater cushioning—than standard insoles. It now features more perforations to help water evaporate and escape from the shoe. The total stack heights (all shoe material between the foot and the ground) of 26 mm at the heel and 22 mm at the forefoot, combined with a 4 mm drop, contribute to an agile, fast, and comfortably cushioned stride. The midsole measures 11 m at the heel and 7 mm at the forefoot
• Upper: A new, super-strong yet flexible ripstop material forms the upper, providing excellent durability, breathability, and drainage. Water that enters the shoe drains out almost as quickly, keeping your feet comfortable. The zigzag-shaped MET-CRADLE overlay on the midfoot connects to the heel and tightens when the laces are pulled, securely holding the foot in place. The reinforced tongue prevents dirt from slipping past the laces and into the shoe, while the toe cap enhances comfort and protection. The upper is 3D-printed—a first in inov-8’s history. Fit and Shape: The shoe’s new shape conforms to the natural contours of the entire foot, featuring a more natural toe box and enhanced heel support. This provides greater comfort, more confidence, and unhindered performance. Available in two widths: Narrow and Wide. The forefoot width measurements are 95 mm for Narrow and 105 mm for Wide. Both offer room for the toes, with the Narrow version being a snugger fit for greater agility on uneven terrain.
