Spike Jet flat compasses are perfect for the orienteer, adventure racers and anyone who needs a fast, stable needle and clear map visibility. With it you get fast navigation while running and a feeling of holding a traditional, robust compass in your hands.
The Silva Jet 2.0 needle provides the highest performance in needle speed and settling time, as well as offering exceptional reliability and stability.
The baseplate is curved upward at the back for improved hand feel. The base is made of a very durable material to withstand extreme conditions and provide plenty of transparency for a clear view of the map. Underneath the base, it has several rubber “feet”, which provide better contact with the map and prevent it from slipping on the map.
The Spike Jet series comes with a comfortable, adjustable wrist strap to ensure you don’t lose your compass when you set off in search of the next waypoint.
It has 3 interchangeable strips with 6 scales:
1:40,000 / 1:15,000 / 1:10,000 / 1:7,500 / 1:4,000 and 1:3,000.
