The SPORTident BSF8 SI-Master is an extended station. It works and can be configured like any other station. In addition, two new service modes are implemented: “TimeMaster” and “ExtendedMaster”. In the “TimeMaster” operating mode, the station transmits its time to any other SPORTident station inductively coupled to the SI-Master. In this way, a set of stations can be synchronized very quickly. Also in the “ExtendedMaster” mode, the SI-Master transmits its time to any other SPORTident station.
