The base and capsule are made of a very durable material that will withstand shocks and the most extreme conditions. At the bottom of the base, we can find small rubber suction cups, to improve the friction with the map.
As for the thumb position, the option has been added (if the user wishes) to mount a small base, so that the finger can rest on it. This piece can be attached or removed, depending on your preferences.
The design provides even more transparency than its predecessor, increasing the visibility of the map. The thumb elastic is easy to adjust and makes the compass fit perfectly (includes 2 elastics of different “hardness”).
