Conquer the mud with the MUDTALON™ V2. The V2 is the most cushioned shoe in Inov-8’s MUDTALON™ lineup and is perfect for longer training runs and races on soft, muddy, and challenging terrain. With its aggressive 8 mm rubber lugs on the outsole, the MUDTALON™ V2 lets you conquer even the toughest, muddiest surfaces.

Characteristics Aggressive 8-mm knobs: The hallmark of the MUDTALON™ series is its aggressive 8-mm knobs. They offer excellent traction off the beaten path and give you the confidence you need to tackle steep climbs, descents, and even the muddiest swamps! Thanks to their length, MUDTALON™ knobs can penetrate even the thickest mud and dig right back in for more.

New and Improved POWERFLOW PRO Midsole: With the new generation of MUDTALON™ shoes, Inov-8 has taken the opportunity to further improve the POWERFLOW PRO midsole. This super-lightweight foam offers a high level of cushioning while providing the ground feel needed for running on uneven and technical terrain. We’ve also made the foam slightly firmer to extend the shoe’s lifespan.

META-PLATE Rock Plate: Between the midsole and the outsole of the MUDTALON™ V2 is a flexible META-PLATE rock plate. This protects against sharp or hard objects underfoot, while the plate’s flexibility ensures you can continue to move your foot naturally even on technical terrain.

NATURALFIT™: Inov-8 shoes provide a snug fit in the heel and midfoot for a secure stride. They feature a wider toe box so your toes can spread out and move naturally. This allows you to feel the terrain better and reach your full natural potential.

Details Midsole: POWERFLOW PRO

Drop: 6 mm

Weight: 2 x 268 g

Last: Narrow

Conquer the mud with the MUDTALON™ V2.
