The ankle orthosis prevents the ankle from twisting sideways without blocking the natural running motion. Compared to a separate ankle orthosis, the integrated ankle orthosis fits perfectly into the shoe without rubbing against the liner. The latest in Integrator has been remodeled and with the rounder toe cap there is a little more room for the toes. The midsole is made of highly responsive CMEVA material that offers agile and delicate footsteps for the orienteer in demanding conditions. The new Integrator also includes a torsional stiffness support integrated into the midsole. This adds efficiency to the shoe, especially when running on inclined surfaces.
The upper is made of durable nylon mesh and to further enhance the shoe’s durability, critical wear points have been reinforced with separate reinforcements. The nylon mesh upper won’t absorb water or stretch, so it stays lightweight and fits snugly all the time during the run. The updated lighter Fitlock system makes the shoe fit perfectly to the foot.
