Terra Expedition S belongs to Silva Terra: a series of products made from recycled materials with 90% less carbon emissions. The lid, grip ring and graduation ring of the Terra Expedition S are made of REVO material.

The Expedition S features a user-friendly housing, silicone rubber feet for precision map work, safety lanyard with scale, luminous (glow-in-the-dark) markings, magnifier, measuring scales in mm or inches, 1:25,000, 1:50,000 and GPS scales, plus a built-in adjuster for magnetic declination.

The Expedition S can also measure 1:40,000 scale maps and comes with a clinometer for slope angle measurement and 45-degree angle assist in the mirror sight function.

This compass features a mirror that allows you to see the compass dial and the background at the same time. A mirror-view compass works best in open terrain where it must determine direction over long distances.

The slope card is excellent for both detecting avalanche risk and determining how challenging your route will be.

The safety cord with scale has; 1:25 and 1:50.
